Using the White Balance Colour Temperature The colour of light shifts towards blue as the colour temperature rises, and towards red as the colour temperature falls. Colour temperature describes this change in light colour in terms of absolute temperature (K: Kelvin). This camera is capable of setting the white balance to enable taking pictures with natural colouring under a variety of lighting conditions. Red tint Blue tint Clear sky Shade Daylight (Fluorescent light) Cloudy Flash Daylight Neutral white (Fluorescent light) White (Fluorescent light) Halogen light bulb Tungsten light Oil lamp Candle flame 1. Press the Fn button. - The Fn menu appears. 2. Press the four-way controller (Ȝ). - The White Balance screen appears. 3.
