Safety & Environment USA/CANADA: This XEROX product is certified by the following Agency using the Safety Standards listed. Agency: UNDERWRITERS LABORATORIES INC. Standard: UL60950-1, 2003 Edition. Certification is based on reciprocity agreements, which include requirements for Canada. Laser Safety Information CAUTION: Use of controls, adjustments or performance of procedure other than those specified herein may result in hazardous light exposure. With specific regard to laser safety, the equipment complies with performance standards for laser product set by government, national and international agencies as a Class 1 laser product. It does not emit hazardous light, as the beam is totally enclosed during all phases of customer operation and maintenance. Ozone Safety Information This product will produce ozone during normal operation. The ozone produced is heavier than air and is dependent on copy volume. Providing the correct environmental parameters as specified in the Xerox installation procedure will ensure that the concentration levels meet safe limits.
