Message service and the Internet The machine lets you send and receive documents and E-mails from numbers throughout the world over the Internet. An E-mail is an electronic message sent via the Internet, to an E-mail address (which is a personal Internet mailbox). Access to the Internet is through an Internet service provider (ISP). The provider allows connection to the Internet and the mailbox through a telephone line. 4-18
