General Information User Restriction Functions You can set the following two functions: 1 1  Secure Function Lock Secure Function Lock restricts scan functions and Web Connect functions based on user permissions.  Active Directory Authentication Active Directory Authentication restricts the use of your Brother machine. If Active Directory Authentication is enabled, the machine's control panel will be locked. You cannot change the machine's settings until you enter a User ID, domain name and password. NOTE You cannot use both Secure Function Lock and Active Directory Authentication at the same time. The following settings can be available when Secure Function Lock or Active Directory Authentication is on.
