9 Remote Fax Options 9 Fax Forwarding/Paging You cannot use Paging and Fax Forwarding at the same time. To use Paging or Fax Forwarding you must set Fax Storage to ON. Programming a Fax Forwarding Number When Fax Forwarding is set to ON, your MFC stores the received fax in memory. Then it dials the fax number you've programmed and forwards the fax message. 1 Press Menu, 2, 5, 1. 2 Press or until the LCD shows 1.FAX FWD/PAGING FAX FORWARD, and then press Set. 3 The LCD prompts you to enter the number of the fax machine where faxes will be forwarded. Enter the forwarding number (up to 20 digits), and then press Set. 4 Press Stop/Exit. Programming Your Pager Number When Paging is selected, your MFC dials the pager number you've programmed, and dials your Personal Identification Number (PIN); this activates your pager so you know you have a fax message in the memory. 1 Press Menu, 2, 5, 1. 1.FAX FWD/PAGING 2 Press or until the LCD shows PAGING, and then press Set. 3 Enter your pager phone number (up to 20 digits) followed by # #, and then press Set.
