Chapter 2 Printing Tasks 110 Loading Envelopes into the Envelope Feeder 1 Note Print only envelopes approved for use in the printer (page 267). 1 Pull out the envelope tray extender. The tray extender will help reduce jams. 2 2 Adjust the width guides to the size of the envelopes to be used. 3 Lift the envelope weight lever, and insert the envelopes up to the fill mark. 3 4 Lower the lever. The envelopes should be angled as shown (A). Do not angle them the opposite direction (B). Note Select the envelope size from the software 4 application (if the setting is available), the printer driver, and the Paper Handling Menu in the printer's control panel (page 283).
