Chapter 5 Problem Solving 172 Printer Messages (continued) Message FINISHER LOW ON FINISHING AGENT FLASH DEVICE FAILURE FLASH FILE OPERATION FAILED FLASH FILE SYSTEM IS FULL FLASH IS WRITE PROTECTED INPUT DEVICE CONDITION xx.yy LOADING PROGRAM alternates with DO NOT POWER OFF Explanation or Recommended Action The finishing device is running out of its finishing material and needs to be refilled. The flash DIMM had a critical failure and no longer can be used. Remove the flash DIMM and replace it with a new one. The requested operation could not be performed. You might have attempted an illegal operation, such as trying to download a file to a non-existent directory. Delete files from the flash DIMM. Download or delete files from HP JetAdmin, and download or delete fonts from HP FontSmart. (See the software help for more information.) The flash DIMM is protected, and no new files can be written to it. Disable the write protection through HP JetAdmin. An input paper handling device has a condition that needs attention before printing can resume. See the documentation that came with the paper handling device for assistance. Programs and fonts can be stored on the printer's file system. At bootup time these entities are loaded into RAM. (These entities can take a long time to load into RAM depending on the size and number of entities being loaded.) The specifies a sequence number indicating the current program being loaded.
