This can occur for several reasons. If your PC was turned off and not in standby mode during the time the show was scheduled to record, or if there was a recording conflict with another scheduled program, a recording error occurs. If you were watching live TV when the show was scheduled to record and declined the prompt to change channels, a recording error occurs. About Recording Errors
A recording error means that a program scheduled to record was not recorded. This can occur
