# $ K + If You Cannot Activate Any Video Resolution Higher Than 640 x 480 If you cannot select a video resolution higher than 640 x 480, you should clear the contents of the CMOS RAM. To clear the configuration: 1. Switch off the PC and remove the cover. (Refer to chapter 3.) 2. Set the system board switch 3 (CONFG) on the switch block to CLOSED to clear the configuration. (Refer to chapter 5 for the switch location.) 3. Switch on the PC to erase the memory. 4. Check that error messages are displayed, and wait until the PC has started. 5. Switch off the PC. 6. Set the system board switch 3 (CONFG) on the switch block to OPEN to re-enable the configuration. 7. Replace the cover. (Refer to chapter 3.) 8. Switch on the PC and run SETUP by pressing[F2] appears. 9.
