Local logging must be enabled for a device port for the locallog commands to be executed. To use the set locallog clear command, the user must have permission to clear port buffers (see Chapter 14: User Authentication.) Example set deviceport port 2-5,6,12,15-16 locallogging enable show locallog Syntax show locallog [] Parameters [bytes ] [startbyte ] Defaults: bytes=1000, startbyte=1 Description Displays a specific number of bytes of data for a device port. 1K is the default.
