Using Browser Protection and Web Filtering Web Filtering report 6 Web Filtering report Use the Web Filtering report to track Internet usage and browsing activity on your network. This report lists visits to websites and attempts to access websites for which you have configured policy options to regulate access. Use this report to view detailed information about the specific sites, their safety ratings and content categories, the computers that attempted to access them, and the action taken by browser protection. Select the information that appears in this report Select this option... Report period Rating View Groups Action To do this... Specify the period of time for which to display information. Select from the last week or one of the last 12 months. Show attempts to access all sites for which actions are configured, or only sites with a particular rating or all sites. List the computers that attempted to access restricted sites or the domains they attempted to access. Display all the computers on your account or only the computers in a single group. Show all visits to domains, or only those for which browser protection performed a particular action. • All: All actions. • Allow: Computers were allowed to access the site. • Warned-Continued: Users were warned, then continued navigation to the site. • Warned-Cancelled: Users were warned, then cancelled navigation to the site. • Block: Computers were blocked from accessing the site. How to use this report When you want to... Do this... Display the sites in a Click the triangle icon next to the domain name to display the sites users domain attempted to access in the domain. View details about an access attempt Click a quantity to display the Event Details page: • When View | Computers is selected, click a quantity in an action column (such as Blocked). • When View | Domains is selected, click a quantity under Access Count. The Event Details page shows the name of the computer that attempted to access the site, the URL for the site, the type of access attempted, and the date and time of the attempted access. This report lists visits to websites and attempts to access websites for which you have configured
