78 Your pictures and videos Connect your device to your home theater You can use your device with home theater systems. With compatible home theaters, you can enjoy HD videos with Dolby™ Digital Plus 5.1 multichannel audio for an immersive surround sound experience. 1 Connect the HDMI adapter to the HDMI connector of your device. 2 Connect an HDMI cable (available separately) to the adapter, and then to the HDMI connector of your home theater. The home theater needs to support the HDMI 1.3 standard and be able to pass through video to your TV over HDMI. Your device decodes Dolby Digital Plus, and outputs PCM audio to your home theater.
