2 SETTING UP CHAPTER • Turn off the voice command feature if you're not using it (see Setting up voice commands). • Turn down the screen brightness (see Adjusting the brightness). • If you synchronize with your corporate Exchange server using Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync®, increase the time interval between automatic synchronizations (see Setting the synchronization schedule). • Keep your battery away from direct sunlight and other sources of heat. Temperatures over 50 degrees Celsius (120 degrees Fahrenheit) can permanently reduce the capacity and life span of any lithium-ion battery. 2 Press Center to turn off Keyguard (see Locking your keyboard (Keyguard) for more info). 3 Use the number keys to enter the number you want to call.
