Using North American dialing 1. To begin a number with the North American or the stored International Dialing Code, from a Home panel, touch . 2. Touch and hold the 0 key until a plus sign (+) displays. 3. Enter the Country Code and the number, then touch . International dialing With North American dialing disabled, you can store another International Dialing Code. This simplifies using your phone to dial international numbers when in a country not part of the North American Dialing Plan. 1. From the Home screen, press Menu ➔ Settings ➔Call settings ➔ North American dialing. When disabled, the check mark disdisplays from the check box, and International dialing becomes enabled. 2. Touch International dialing. The International dialing pop-up displays. 3. Enter or change the current International Dialing Code, then touch OK. Auto retry When enabled, your phone will automatically re-attempt a call when it encounters a network busy signal. 1. From the Home screen, press settings. Menu ➔ Settings ➔Call 2. Touch Auto retry to enable or disable automatic call retry. When enabled, a check mark displays in the check box. TTY mode When enabled, TTY Mode allows your phone to work with a TTY device attached to the Headset Jack. Before using your phone with a TTY device, you'll need to enable TTY Mode. 1. From the Home screen, press Menu ➔ Settings ➔Call settings ➔ TTY mode. You are prompted to enable or disable TTY mode. 2. To enable TTY mode, touch Yes, then touch TTY Off, TTY Full, TTY HCO (TTY + Hear), or TTY VCO (TTY + Talk).
