FLICKER CANCEL Menu The FLICKER CANCEL menu is used to adjust the flicker cancel function. >MODE FREQUENCY ON 60Hz MODE When this item is set to ON, the flicker cancel function works. When this item is set to OFF, the flicker cancel function does not work. FREQUENCY Sets the utility frequency of light source that causes the flicker. Select 50Hz or 60Hz. Note Depending on the lighting type or shutter speed, etc., the flicker cancel function may not reduce flicker effectively. If the frame rate of the picture is close to the utility frequency, flicker is not canceled even if the flicker cancel function works properly. In this case, use the electronic shutter. It is recommended that MODE is set to OFF when shooting under light that does not flicker, such as outdoors. 37 FLICKER CANCEL Menu GB
