PART 6 OPERATION After inserting the disk, depress any key on the keyboard. MS-DOS is loaded. And the "Disk in Use" LED lights while MS-DOS is read from the disk. Note that you may insert the disk into the drive before the message Insert system disk in drive Press any key when ready.... appears. If you do so, the program loading starts automatically after completing the power-on self-test. CAUTION Never remove a disk when the "in use" light is ON. Otherwise the information in the disk might be damaged. Additional information regarding further use of MS-DOS can be found in PART 7 USING MS-DOS. 6-12
