Chapter 8 Wireless Screen • You must use different WEP keys for different BSSs. If two stations have different BSSIDs (they are in different BSSs), but have the same WEP keys, they may hear each other's communications (but not communicate with each other). • MBSSID should not replace but rather be used in conjunction with 802.1x security. 8.2 The Wireless Screen Use this screen to choose the operating mode for your NWA. Click Wireless > Wireless. The screen varies depending upon the operating mode you select. Note: Some fields in this screen may not apply to your NWA model. 8.2.1 Access Point Mode Use this screen to use your NWA as an access point. Select Access Point as the Operating Mode.
