Chapter 10 Wireless Security Screen 10.2.2 Security: 802.1x Only Use this screen to set the selected profile to 802.1x Only security mode. Select 802.1x-Only in the Security Mode field to display the following screen. Figure 90 Security: 802.1x Only The following table describes the labels in this screen. Table 40 Security: 802.1x Only LABEL DESCRIPTION Profile Name Type a name to identify this security profile. Security Mode Choose 802.1x Only in this field. ReAuthenticatio Specify how often wireless stations have to resend user names and n Timer passwords in order to stay connected. The default value is 0, which means the reauthentication off. Idle Timeout Apply Reset Note: If wireless station authentication is done using a RADIUS server, the reauthentication timer on the RADIUS server has priority. The NWA automatically disconnects a wireless station from the wired network after a period of inactivity. The wireless station needs to enter the user name and password again before access to the wired network is allowed. The default time interval is 3600 seconds (or 1 hour).
