Working with Ink Systems Replace the Ink System 2 Removing and Replacing the Printhead Cleaner WARNING When you open the right door of the printer, the printhead cleaners move to the opening in the printer for replacement. Keep hands clear of the opening until the printhead cleaners stop moving. 1 Open the right door on the printer. C4704114 After you open the right door, the printer displays the message shown below on the front panel. The blinking indicators show which printhead cleaner(s) must be replaced. In the example below, the yellow printhead cleaner needs to be replaced. Replace Close right door C4723036A 4-16
