NOTE Controlling the Page Format Adjusting Margins for Roll and Sheet Media Extended margins provide wider top and bottom margins. Extended margins enable the printer to do automatic error correction on the leading and trailing edges of an image to prevent image quality defects when it detects nonfunctional nozzles. See page 9-6, Checking Printheads, for more information on this feature. If you select Smaller Margins with PostScript files, the printer uses the Normal margin settings. The HP PostScript printer drivers provided with your printer use Extended margins only. The setting in your driver override settings in the front panel. 5-13
