Responding to Fabric Watch Messages Messages Message Description Troubleshooting FW-CHANGED, 4, envFan (Env Fan ) value has changed, current value: RPM. (info) Explains that the speed of the fan has changed to a new value. Provides the new value. This is an informational message. Respond to this message as is appropriate to the particular policy of the end-user installation. To prevent recurring messages, disable the changed alarm for this threshold. Message Description Troubleshooting FW-EXCEEDED, 3, envFan (Env Fan ) exceeded boundary, current value: RPM. (info) Explains that the speed of the fan has risen to an unacceptably high value or fallen to an unacceptably low value. Provides the new value. Consistently abnormal fan speeds generally indicate that you must replace the fan. Message Description Troubleshooting FW-BELOW, 3, envFan (Env Fan ) is below low boundary, current value: RPM. (normal) Explains that the speed of the fan has fallen to a value below the low boundary. Provides the new value. Consistently abnormal fan speeds generally indicate that you must replace the fan.
