Responding to Fabric Watch Messages Troubleshooting This is an informational message. Respond to this message as is appropriate to the particular policy of the end-user installation. Message Description Troubleshooting FW-BELOW, 3, sfpVolt (Sfp Voltage ) is below low boundary, current value: mV. (faulty) Explains that the SFP voltage value has fallen below the low boundary. Provides the new value. Configure the low threshold to 1 so that the threshold triggers an alarm when the value falls to 0 (Faulty). If continuous or repeated alarms occur, replace the SFP before it deteriorates. Message Description Troubleshooting FW-ABOVE, 3, sfpVolt (Sfp Voltage ) is above high boundary, current value: mV. (faulty) Explains that the SFP voltage value has risen above the high boundary. Provides the new value. This is an informational message. Respond to this message as is appropriate to the particular policy of the end-user installation. Message Description Troubleshooting FW-INBETWEEN, 3, sfpVolt (Sfp Voltage ) is between high and low boundaries, current value: mV. (normal) Explains that the SFP voltage value has changed from a value outside of the acceptable range to a value within the acceptable range. Provides the new value. This is an informational message. Respond to this message as is appropriate to the particular policy of the end-user installation. Fabric Watch Version 3.1.x/4.1.x User Guide 125

Troubleshooting
This is an informational message. Respond to this message as is appropriate
to the particular policy of the end-user installation.
Message
FW-BELOW, 3, sfpVolt
<element index>
(Sfp Voltage
<element index>
) is
below low boundary, current value: <
value
> mV. (faulty)
Description
Explains that the SFP voltage value has fallen below the low boundary.
Provides the new value.
Troubleshooting
Configure the low threshold to 1 so that the threshold triggers an alarm when
the value falls to 0 (Faulty). If continuous or repeated alarms occur, replace
the SFP before it deteriorates.
Message
FW-ABOVE, 3, sfpVolt
<element index>
(Sfp Voltage
<element index>
