6 CONVERTER MODE SETTING SCREEN 4. [Network] Menu (continued) MIP Address Set the VE-PG3's LAN addresses. [Network]-[IP Address] q IP address w Subnet mask e Default gateway Enter the VE-PG3's IP address to connect to the network. (Default: 192.168.0.1) • If you use the DHCP, enter the same network port of the address as that of set in the DHCP. Enter the subnet mask to connect to the network. (Default: 255.255.255.0) (Setting example: When you set the subnet mask to "255.255.255.248") • IP address can be set between "192.168.0.0" and "192.168.0.7." • IP address for network devices can be set between "192.168.0.2" and "192.168.0.6." • T he following IP address cannot be used for network devices. 192.168.0.0 : Network address 192.168.0.1 : VE-PG3 IP address 192.168.0.7 : Broadcast IP address Enter the default gateway when your VE-PG3 communicates with a network device which has a different network part IP address. • If the default gateway is set to the LAN side, the network route is on the WAN side when the default gateway is set to the WAN side. 6-10
