CONNECTION SETTINGS Item Description Items that are shaded ( ) are common to all modes. Settings with the R mark are default values. For setting connections with external devices. DISPLAY ON TV For specifying whether to enable on-screen display on the monitor. R OFF : Disables on-screen display. ON : Enables on-screen display. VIDEO OUTPUT For selecting the monitor type. 4:3 : When connecting to a conventional monitor (4:3) R 16:9 : When connecting to a wide monitor (16:9) COMPONENT OUTPUT For selecting the resolution of video output from the component terminal to match the connected monitor. R 480i : When connecting to a monitor that supports 480i and 480p 720p : When connecting to a monitor that supports 720p 1080i : When connecting to a monitor that supports 1080i This setting is fixed at 576i when 1080-50/25 or 720-50/25 is selected for SYSTEM SELECT. HDMI OUTPUT For selecting the resolution of video output from the HDMI terminal to match the connected monitor. Set this item when images are not properly displayed on a monitor that supports a maximum output of 1080i. R AUTO : Use this setting under normal circumstances. Resolution is automatically set according to the connected monitor. 480p : Outputs at 480p. 480i : Outputs at 480i. This setting is fixed at 576p or 576i when 1080-50/25 or 720-50/25 is selected for SYSTEM SELECT. HDMI COLOR SETTING For selecting the color format of HDMI signals. R AUTO : Outputs upon detecting YUV/RGB automatically according to the connected monitor. RGB : Outputs RGB signals. HDMI ENHANCE SETTING For setting the color range of HDMI signals. R OFF : When connected to a conventional monitor ON : When connected to a PC monitor For setting processes related to the SD card. FORMAT A separate screen is displayed. (A Page 24) Erases all data. VIDEO NO. RESET A separate screen is displayed. (A Page 24) Resets the video file number. IMAGE NO. RESET A separate screen is displayed. (A Page 24) Resets the still picture file number.
