4048-1xx Fuser assembly removal 1. Unplug the printer. 2. Remove the left side cover. See "Left side cover removal" on page 4-14. 3. Remove the right side. See "Right side cover removal" on page 4-12. 4. Remove the rear cover. See "Rear cover removal" on page 4-15. 5. Disconnect the thermistor and exit sensor cables (A) at the printer frame to the right of the fuser. 6. Disconnect the fuser from the LVPS (B) on the left side and free the cables from the printer frame. 4-26 Service Manual

Fuser assembly removal
1.
Unplug the printer.
2.
Remove the left side cover. See
“Left side cover
removal” on page 4-14
.
3.
Remove the right side. See
“Right side cover removal” on
page 4-12
.
4.
Remove the rear cover. See
“Rear cover removal” on
page 4-15
.
5.
Disconnect the thermistor and exit sensor cables (A) at the
printer frame to the right of the fuser.
6.
Disconnect the fuser from the LVPS (B) on the left side and free
the cables from the printer frame.
