4048-1xx MPF paper sensor installation: To verify the spring is correctly reinstalled: 1. Reinstall the metal plate. Make sure the compression spring (A) is in the proper location and captured at its ends. 2. Release the solenoid latch (A). 3. Rotate the main motor counterclockwise until the gear arm engages the solenoid latch. The metal plate (B) raises and lowers as the latch engages and releases the drive to rotate. MPF paper sensor installation:
To verify the spring is correctly reinstalled:
1.
Reinstall the metal plate. Make sure the compression spring (A)
is in the proper location and captured at its ends.
2.
Release the solenoid latch (A).
3.
Rotate the main motor counterclockwise until the gear arm
engages the solenoid latch. The metal plate (B) raises and
lowers as the latch engages and releases the drive to rotate.
