Sounds Settings Assigning Messages, Data, and Calendar Ringer Types Note: In analog mode, the phone plays the Bell 2 ringtone in place of any assigned MP3 or QCP type ringtones; including the Preloaded ringtone, Bell 1. 1. In standby mode, press the MENU (left) soft key ( ), then press wxyz (for Settings), abc (for Sounds), and def for Ringer Type. The following ringer types appear in the display: • Calls • Messages • Alarm • Data • Calendar If customizing the Messages ringer types the following options appear in the display: • Voice Mail • Text • Pic • Wap Push 2. Use the navigation keys to highlight a ringer type, then press the OK key. The following Melody Gallery options appear in the display: • Preloaded • My Melody 3. Use the navigation keys to highlight Preloaded or My Melody, then press the OK key. A list of bells and ringers (melodies) appears in the display. 4. Use the navigation keys to browse through available ring tones. Each tone plays through the speaker as it is highlighted. 5. When the desired ringer type plays, press the OK key to save the setting. Key Beep Use the Key Beep menu to adjust the volume level and length of tone that the keypad generates each time you press a key. Key Beep Volume 1.
