If you select "PTN", the current pattern name is shown between parentheses on the lower display line and [CS6] can be used to select the pattern to be cleared. If you select "KEY", the current pattern name is shown between parentheses on the lower display line, [CS6] can be used to select the pattern from which an instrument is to be cleared, and [CS7] is used to select the key to be cleared. The key to be cleared can also be directly specified by pressing the appropriate key on the keyboard. The MIDI note number corresponding to the selected instrument/key is shown on the lower display line while the note name (C1 ... C6) is shown on the upper line.
