8: BACKUP DISK [UTILITY] → [DISK] → [MENU] → 8:Backup Disk → [ENTER/YES] → [ENTER/YES] The disk backup utility makes it simple to create backup disks of important data. Engaging the disk backup utility required an extra confirmation step since all sequencer data in the SY85 song memory is erased when the disk backup function is used. This is because the sequencer memory is used as temporary storage for the data copied from the source disk to the backup disk.
