3) Remove the set screws F3X10 (4 pcs.) from the optical unit 2. 4) Disconnect the harness connector (1 pc.) to remove the optical unit 2 from the printer. Optical unit 2 Fig.7-80 WARNING There is a class IIIb laser within the optical unit 2. Do not attempt to disassemble the laser. The optical unit 2 is replaced as a complete unit. No adjustment is required to the replacement optical unit 2. Confirm that all the covers have been correctly installed prior to any test run or operation in order to prevent any laser radiation escaping from the printer. VII-57
