DHCP/BOOTP Relay Interface Settings

xStack DGS-3400 Series Layer 2 Gigabit Ethernet Managed Switch DHCP/BOOTP Relay Interface Settings The DHCP/ BOOTP Relay Interface Settings allow the user to set up a server, by IP address, for relaying DHCP/ BOOTP information. The user may enter a previously configured IP interface on the Switch that will indicate which interface is able to support the dhcp relay function. Properly configured settings will be displayed in the BOOTP Relay Table at the bottom of the following window, once the user clicks the Add button under the Apply heading. The user may add up to four server IPs per IP interface on the Switch. Entries may be deleted by clicking the corresponding button. To enable and configure DHCP/BOOTP Relay Interface Settings on the Switch, Administration > DHCP/BOOTP Relay > DHCP/BOOTP Relay Interface Settings: Figure 6- 48. DHCP/BOOTP Relay Interface Settings and Table window The following parameters may be configured or viewed. Parameter Description Interface The IP interface on the Switch that will be connected directly to the client. Server IP Enter the IP address of the DHCP/BOOTP server. Up to four server IPs can be configured per IP Interface Click Add to include this Server IP. 81
