NOTE: If you are not replacing the hard drive, remove the drive from the drive bracket (see Figure 3-11) and insert the empty bracket back into the drive bay. 6 Replace the system cover. Detach the hard-drive bracket from the hard drive by pushing out at the
edges of the bracket and removing the hard drive.
NOTE:
If you are not replacing the hard drive, remove the drive from the drive
bracket (see Figure 3-11) and insert the empty bracket back into the drive bay.

Replace the system cover. See "Closing the System" on page 86.

Place the system upright on a flat surface.

Reattach any peripherals and connect the system to an electrical outlet.

Turn on the system and attached peripherals.
