Customizing Your Macintosh Print Settings Follow these steps to print using advanced printer settings on a Macintosh: 1. From the File menu, select Print. 2. Select Print Settings from the pop-up menu. 3. To access advanced settings, click Advanced. 4. In addition to the basic settings, you can select these advanced options: ■ Print Quality: Lets you specify a print quality for your selected paper type, including Photo (1440 × 720 dpi), Best Photo (1440 × 1440 dpi), or Photo RPM (5760 × 1440 dpi) for the highest print quality on certain paper types. (Printing takes a bit longer in Photo RPM mode.) ■ High Speed: Speeds up printing by allowing printing back and forth across the page, instead of in just one direction. ■ Mirror Image: Inverts the image horizontally. ■ Finest Detail: Places ink droplets in the most precise manner for high quality printing. Follow these steps to print using advanced printer settings on a Macintosh:
