7 Installing Additional Processors Introduction The HP NetServer LH 6000 and the HP NetServer LH 6000r support up to six processors and accompanying voltage regulation modules (VRMs) on the system board assembly. This ensures the processor type, clock speed, and cache size match, and that the processor stepping is compatible. l Be sure that the VRM and the processor module associated with it are installed in the proper slots. CAUTION Do not remove the processor from its bag until you are ready to install it. Make sure the bag remains sealed. 71
