Installing Memory 1. Before turning off your Workstation, check the current amount of installed memory. Refer to your operating system documentation for instructions on finding this information. 2. Turn off the display and shut down the Workstation. Disconnect all power cables and any LAN or telecommunications cables. 3. Remove the Workstation's cover (see page 145). 4. To ease installation, place the Workstation on its side with the system board facing upwards. Chapter 10 159

Installing Memory
1.
Before turning off your Workstation, check the current amount of
installed memory. Refer to your operating system documentation for
instructions on finding this information.
2.
Turn off the display and shut down the Workstation. Disconnect all
power cables and any LAN or telecommunications cables.
3.
Remove the Workstation’s cover (see page 145).
4.
To ease installation, place the Workstation on its side with the system
board facing upwards.
