3 Filler Panel: You can remove this filler panel and install a third hot-swap power supply on power supply bay 3. 4 Power Supply 2 Power Connector: The power cord for power supply 2 connects here. 5 Power Supply 1 Power Connector: The power cord for power supply 1 connects here. 6 DC Power Light: This light provides status information about the power supply. During normal operation, both the AC and DC Power lights are on. For any other combination of lights, see "Power supply LEDs" on page 195 for more information. 7 AC Power Light: This light provides status information about the power supply. During normal operation, both the AC and DC Power lights are on. For any other combination of lights, see "Power supply LEDs" on page 195 for more information. Air circulation The server and monitor produce heat. The server has one or more fans that pull in fresh air and force out hot air. The monitor lets hot air escape through vents. Blocking the air vents can cause overheating, which might result in a malfunction or damage. Place the server and monitor so that nothing blocks the air vents; usually, 15 cm (6 inches) of air space is sufficient. Also, make sure the vented air is not blowing on someone else.
