Status LEDs, The AC and DC Power LEDs

Page 203 highlights

Status LEDs Your server has LEDs to help you identify problems with some server components. These LEDs are part of the light path diagnostics built into the server. By following the path of lights, you can quickly identify the type of system error that occurred. See "Light path diagnostics" on page 13 for more information. Status LEDs are located on the following components: Information panel For more information, see "Operator information panel" on page 89. Hard disk drive trays For more information, see "Controls and indicators" on page 87. Power supply For more information, see "Power supply LEDs." Diagnostics panel For more information, see "Diagnostics panel LEDs" on page 196. System board See "System board component locations" on page 166 for locations of the LEDs on the system board. Processor board See "Processor board component locations" on page 170 for locations of the LEDs on the processor board. Power supply LEDs: The AC and DC Power LEDs on the power supply provide status information about the power supply. See "Power supplies" on page 96 for the location of these LEDs. The following table describes the AC and DC Power LEDs. Netfinity 5600 - Type 8664 195

Status LEDs
Your server has LEDs to help you identify problems with
some server components.
These LEDs are part of the
light path diagnostics built into the server.
By following the
path of lights
, you can quickly identify the type of system
error that occurred.
See “Light path diagnostics” on
page
13 for more information.
Status LEDs are located on the following components:
±
Information panel
For more information, see “Operator information
panel” on page
89.
±
Hard disk drive trays
For more information, see “Controls and indicators”
on page
87.
±
Power supply
For more information, see “Power supply LEDs.”
±
Diagnostics panel
For more information, see “Diagnostics panel LEDs”
on page
196.
±
System board
See “System board component locations” on
page
166 for locations of the LEDs on the system
board.
±
Processor board
See “Processor board component locations” on
page
170 for locations of the LEDs on the processor
board.
Power supply LEDs:
The AC and DC Power LEDs
on the power supply provide status information about the
power supply.
See “Power supplies” on page
96 for the
location of these LEDs.
The following table describes the AC and DC Power LEDs.
