Light path diagnostics System Error LED (information LED panel) Lit diagnostics panel LED FAN 3 TEMPERATURE Cause Fan 3 has failed or is operating too slowly. Notes: 1. An LED on the failing fan assembly will also be on. 2. A failing fan can also cause the TEMPERATURE and HDD LEDs to be on. The system temperature has exceeded a threshold level. Off None The light path diagnostics have not detected a system error. Action Replace fan 3. 1. Check to see if a fan has failed. If it has, replace the fan. 2. Make sure the room temperature is not too hot. (See "Specifications" on page 55.) If the problem persists, go to "General checkout" on page 6. None

Check to see if a fan has failed.
If it has, replace the
fan.
