To delete an administrator password: 1. Select Administrator Password from the System Security menu; then, press Enter. The Administrator Password menu appears. 2. Select Delete Administrator Password; then, press Enter. 3. A confirmation window appears. Press Enter to delete the administrator password. Press Esc to return to the System Security menu. To enable a user to change the power-on password: 1. Select Administrator Password from the System Security menu; then, press Enter. The Administrator Password screen appears. 2. Select Power-on password changeable by user. Press the Left Arrow (←) or Right Arrow (→) key to toggle the entry to Yes. When this choice is enabled, System Security appears on the limited System Configuration Utility main menu. The System Security menu contains the Power-on Password choice. Defining a system owner's name: You can specify a system owner's name that displays during POST. The system owner's name can only be removed or changed from the System Security menu. If you set an administrator password, only the administrator can set, change, or delete the system owner's name. To set the system owner's name: 1. Select System Owner's Name from the System Security screen, and press Enter. 2. Enter the name in the Enter system owner's name string data field. 3. Press the Down Arrow (↓) key to select the Set or change system owner's name data field. 4. Press Enter to set the name or change a previously defined name. You can use any combination of up to 16 characters in the system owner's name. To delete the system owner's name, select Delete stored system owners name; then, press Enter.
