8 SCAN OPERATION Scan types Scanning searches for signals automatically and makes it easier to locate new stations for contact or listening purposes. FULL SCAN (p. 102) 118 MHz 999.990 MHz Scan Jump Repeatedly scans all frequencies over the entire band. Some frequency ranges are not scanned according to the frequency coverage of the transceiver's version.
