Use of the encryption function for the HDD will encrypt and protect all jobs in the HDD of Auto Inspection Unit UK-301. ★Important★  Enabling [UK-301 HDD Encryption setting] under the circumstances where the reference image already or Auto Inspection report yet to be created exists, an abnormality of the system may occur including freezing after a dialog "wait for a moment..." appears on the screen.  Before enabling [UK-301 HDD Encryption setting], make sure to delete all of the reference images and Auto Inspection report yet to be created. Setting procedure [Setup Menu] ⇒[Administrator Setting] ⇒[UK-301 Security setting]⇒[HDD Encryption Set.(UK-301)] Select [Use] on the [HDD Encryption Function setting] window to enable the HDD Encryption Function of Auto Inspection Unit UK-301. Click [Current PW] and enter the current encryption PW.。 ✔Default: 12345678 Click [New PW] and enter the new PW. ✔Enter the Administrator PW using 8 to 64 alphabets and/or numbers. Click [Confirm], and re-enter the new PW. 19

UK-301 HDD Encryption setting
Overview
Set whether to use or not the encryption function for the HDD of Auto Inspection Unit UK-
301.
Use of the encryption function for the HDD will encrypt and protect all jobs in the HDD of
Auto Inspection Unit UK-301.
★Important★
Enabling [UK-301 HDD Encryption setting] under the circumstances where the
reference image already or Auto Inspection report yet to be created exists, an
