KONICAMINOLTA CONFIDENTIAL 5. USER SETTING Restore procedure Connect the external storage device for restore to the USB port of Auto Inspection Unit UK301. Make sure that the external storage device satisfies the condition stipulated in "Requirements for the external storage device for backup". Click [Administrator Setting] ⇒ [UK-301 Security setting]⇒[HDD ALL Restore] Caution:If the enhanced security mode is ON, [HDD ALL Backup] is grayed out and unable to be selected. Click [Start]. Caution: Please note that if HDD ALL Restore is failed or cancelled on the way, the data in the HDD will be all deleted. Whole data size of the data to be restored is displayed on the message window. ✔Clicking [Start] will display a dialog to confirm an approval that the data in the HDD is all overwritten and deleted. Click [Yes] to start restore of all data. ✔Progress bar appears while it is in restore process. ✔If the restore is unsuccessful, a dialog to report an error appears. Click [Close], and retry the restore. If the retry doesn't work, turn OFF/ON the sub power switch, which will delete all the data in the HDD. ✔After completing the restore of all data, turn OFF/ON the sub power switch. 25

Restore procedure
Connect the external storage device for restore to the USB port of Auto Inspection Unit UK-

Click [Administrator Setting] ⇒ [UK-301 Security setting]⇒[HDD ALL Restore]
Caution:If the enhanced security mode is ON, [HDD ALL Backup] is grayed out and
unable to be selected.
Click [Start].
Caution:
Please note that if HDD ALL Restore is
failed or cancelled on the way, the data
in the HDD will be all deleted.
