(7) FILM LOADING BASIC OPERATION (PREPARATION) * We suggest that first you operate the camera with no film loaded to become familiar with its operation. * THE SHUTTER CURTAINS ARE FINE-PRECISION MATERIAL. DO NOT TOUCH THEM WITH YOUR FINGERS OR ANY OTHER OBJECT WHILE LOADING FILM. * When DX-coded film is used, the correct film speed is automatically set for the camera. This camera can set a DX-coded film speed within the range ISO 25 to 5000. * If you use a Non-DX coded film, manually set the ISO film speed. See page 106. * Before loading a film for the first time after purchase, open the back cover and remove the protective card as shown in the photo. Hold the film cartridge with the protruding end down.
