3 NOLLVInd0 MONVACIV 1 Of 3. Focus on the subject first with the AF frame by depressing the shutter release button halfway down, and then depress the shutter release button fully. The shutter will be released about 12 seconds later. * When the Self-Timer is in operation, the self-timer lamp and audible PCV signal are delivered at a faster rate for the last two seconds, letting you know when the shutter is released. By using the Pentax function No.1, the audible PCV can be canceled. * To stop the Self-timer operation after it has been activated before the shot is taken, move the main switch to the [OFF] position. However, the selftimer mode remains. * If you back away from the viewfinder during a Self Timer operation, underexposure may result due to light entering the camera through the viewfinder. Attach the supplied finder cap or use the memory lock function (See page 42) in an AE mode.
