Focusing Manually/Adjusting the White Balance , r. • • • When to Adjust the White Balance Manually White balance adjustment makes white subjects look white and gets more natural color balance for camera recording. You can obtain better results by adjusting the white balance manually under the following conditions: Conditions Lighting conditions change quickly Conditions too bright, such as in photography studios Under sodium lamps Under mercury lamps Monochromatic subject or background Recording outdoors: e.g.neon signs, fireworks Scenes after sunset or before sunrise Under a color matching fluorescent lamp White balance mode (Indicator inside the viewfinder) -4): (Indoor) b.•..•1 , (Outdoor) Adjusting the White Balance (1) Slide the AUTO LOCK switch down to the center position.
