"Memory Stick" Operations Using a "Memory Stick" - Introduction Inserting the "Memory Stick" Insert a "Memory Stick" in the "Memory Stick" slot as far as it can go with the B mark facing the grip belt as illustrated. Access lamp Removing the "Memory Stick" Press the "Memory Stick" once lightly. Notes •If you insert the "Memory Stick" forcibly in the wrong direction, the "Memory Stick" slot may be damaged. •Do not insert anything other than a "Memory Stick" into the "Memory Stick" slot. Doing so may cause a malfunction. While the access lamp is lit or flashing Do not shake or strike your camcorder because your camcorder is reading the data from the "Memory Stick" or recording the data on the "Memory Stick." Do not turn the power off, remove the "Memory Stick" or remove the battery pack. Otherwise, image data breakdown may occur. If " MEMORY STICK ERROR" appears Reinsert the "Memory Stick" a few times. The "Memory Stick" may be damaged if the indicator still appears. If this occurs, use another "Memory Stick." 115
