Managing System System Info Configurations 2.2 Using the CLI 2.2.1 Viewing the System Summary On privileged EXEC mode or any other configuration mode, you can use the following command to view the system information of the switch: show interface status [ fastEthernet port | gigabitEthernet port | ten-gigabitEthernet port ] View status of the interface. port: Enter the number of the Ethernet port. show system-info View the system information including system Description, Device Name, Device Location, System Contact, Hardware Version, Firmware Version, System Time, Run Time and so on. The following example shows how to view the interface status and the system information of the switch. Using the CLI

2.2.1 Viewing the System Summary

On privileged EXEC mode or any other configuration mode, you can use the following

command to view the system information of the switch:

show interface status [ fastEthernet

port

| gigabitEthernet

port

| ten-gigabitEthernet

port

]

View status of the interface.

port

: Enter the number of the Ethernet port.

show system-info

View the system information including system Description, Device Name, Device Location, System

Contact, Hardware Version, Firmware Version, System Time, Run Time and so on.
