Configuring ACL ACL Configuration 2.1 Using the GUI 2.1.1 Configuring Time-Range Some ACL-based services or features may need to be limited to take effect only during a specified time period. In this case, you can configure time-range for the ACL. Choose the menu ACL > Time-Range > Time-Range Create to load the following page. Figure 2-1 Creating the Time-Range Follow these steps to create the time-range: 1) In the Create Time-Range section, assign a name to the time-range, and then select a mode. Name Specify the name of the time-range. Holiday Configure time-range in Holiday mode. In this mode, the corresponding ACL rule takes effect only when the system date falls within the specified holiday time. For details, refer to Configuring Holiday Absolute Configure time-range in Absolute mode. In this mode, you can configure an absolute date range during which the corresponding ACL rule will take effect. Week Configure time-range in Week mode. In this mode, you can configure a cycle time range so the corresponding ACL rule will take effect on certain days each week. 2) In the Create Time-Slice section, configure the start and end time, then click Create. Start Time / End Time Enter the start and end time of a time-slice so that this ACL rule will take effect during specified time periods in the day. 3) Click Apply to make the settings effective.
