To view items in a popup list, click the Expand popup lists check box. Changing or removing existing key assignments 1 In the Fn-esse keyboard, click the key you wish to change with the secondary button. Fn-esse displays the Assignment Type dialog box. 2 To change the key assignment, click Direct or Popup and continue as if you were creating a new assignment. 3 To remove the key assignment, click Clear. Working with the keyboard This section introduces additional keyboard options. Making your keyboard emulate a full-size keyboard The 101-key enhanced keyboard has two Enter, Ctrl and Alt keys. The computer's built-in keyboard has only one of each. Most of the time this doesn't matter. However, some programs assign separate functions to the right and left Ctrl and Alt keys, or to the regular and numeric pad Enter keys on the enhanced keyboard. Using the Fn key you can simulate these separate keys, as follows: ❖ Press Fn and Ctrl simultaneously to simulate the Ctrl key on the right side of the enhanced keyboard. ❖ Press Fn and Alt simultaneously to simulate the Alt key on the right side of the enhanced keyboard. ❖ Press Fn and Enter simultaneously to simulate the Enter key on the numeric pad of the enhanced keyboard.
