System Setup The Tecra 8000 Series has several user-definable settings and features available for customizing the machine to your specific needs and preferences. Using TSETUP TSETUP is much like Hardware Setup, but it is DOS-based. To access TSETUP: 1 Turn off the computer. 2 Hold down the ESC key and turn on the computer. 3 When you receive the following message: "Check system. Then press [F1] key," press F1. This method will take you to the first of two screens, each of which is a table showing default settings. To change (or view) the options available at any particular setting, use the arrow keys to move to the setting and press the space bar to scroll through the options. Any changes you've made in TSETUP become default settings when your system reboots. 153
